Boyfriend surprised me tonight by taking us to dinner at Sushi Connections. As you know, Sushi Connections is a kaiten-zushi joint and is a regular hang-out for us.
The staff at Sushi Connections are habitually friendly. The chefs are happy to make you anything that you don’t see on the conveyor belt, and they have a variety of hot foods too. There is a lot of parking available, and we’ve never waited more than a few minutes for seats at the bar.
The fish at Sushi Connections is well cut and always tastes fresh. They do run out of our favorites such as ika (squid), and hotate (scallops) from time to time, but I’d rather have a restaurant order too little of the good stuff than too much of the mediocre stuff. In addition to salmon, squid, and scallop nigiri, we really enjoy their spicy tuna gunkan, portabella roll, and spam masubi!
